The Holidays are Coming!

I woke up this morning at five a.m. to the sound of the telephone ringing letting me know that the school was on a two hour delay due to weather.  Amazed I looked out the window, and sure enough, it was snowing!  Wasn't Halloween just a week ago?  It reminded me that the Holidays are on their way, ready or not.
I have been very busy with the website.  I have added a bunch of new merchandise (please check it out when you get a chance).  The site also has a few new pages.  The first is called Tuesday Treasures - every Tuesday, I will add a few items to the page for a sale.  The next is 'We are Thankful for you'.  This sale will begin Monday, November 15 and run through November 30.  It is sponsored by Shabby Lane Shops, if you are unfamiliar with this site, you have to check it out.  It includes many web shops that sell beautiful items, vintage and vintage inspired. Here is the link:

I have also included a holiday cookie recipe for Grandma's Italian Cookies.  They are delicious, and yes, my mom makes them every year during the season.
