I hope you all weathered the storm and are safe.  Here in Connecticut, we had so many trees and wires down that they had to postpone opening the schools until after labor day.  Many people in my town are still without power.

Summer by the Sea

I hope you are all having a lovely summer.  I have been spending most of my time by the sea, hence the not working on the blog!  Something about being in this setting really relaxes me.

Flowers, flowers, everywhere

Hello -

I hope you are enjoying the spring.  It has been raining here in Connecticut for almost four days, so, needless to say, I have been very busy loading the website up with lots of new items.  The one great thing is that it is lilac time here and when we bought our current home, we inherited about 8 large bushes.  I have been busy bringing some indoors and arranging.  They smell divine!

Inspired by all the spring flowers and a clip that I once made and just wore in Orlando, I have made a ton of new floral hair clips in great colors in time for summer:

 

No way can you have a bad hair day with one of these clipped on.  I also made a few to be pins to add to your favorite accessories.

Another new item I have created to go with the charm bracelets are charm necklaces.  These necklaces contain a loop with holds a few different charms:

And I have been working on more scrapbooks so be on the lookout for those.

Hello and I hope you all had a Happy Mother's Day.  Mine was lovely; the weather was beautiful. 
Yesterday, I went to the Vintage Textile Show in Sturbridge, MA and found oh so many beautiful things to create with.  It was so much fun especially since I love 'the hunt'.
This week, I will be adding many new items to the site.  I just need to take the photographs!
